- What is BioEnergetics?
BioEnergetics is an assessment modality that acknowledges the physical components of the body as well as the electrical needs with its design. Our body requires nutrition as well as unblocked energy flow to function at its best.
- How safe/effective is what you do for kids?
I would build a protocol safe for children. I don’t treat disease but instead, support the child’s whole body. Most often, the body will take care of itself when it has what it needs.
- Do you give detailed information about the process and anticipated outcome?
I give an educated guess about the anticipated outcome. I make the process clear and simple during the first consultation. There may be a time when we change a few things within a protocol but the path and goal is always in focus…
- Do you take after hours calls?
I will answer questions via text, email or phone anytime I am able. Sometimes, I’ve been known to respond at 2am. I love to have communication with my clients but may need to be with my family as well. I make no promise that I will have on call hours but have been pretty good keeping in touch.
- How do you manage the detox process?
I work with the design of the body. That means that certain bodily functions need to be working “orderly” before I suggest a targeted detox protocol. The purpose of preparing the body for a detox is so that it has a safe path for toxins to leave when they are released from the tissues. If the pathways aren’t clear, the person may feel sick or it can make the body tuck those toxins in even deeper. New symptoms may appear because the toxins were “loosed” and redeposited in a new location.
- Will a new client on average take several visits to determine a treatment plan or just one?
I work with the Healing Template. It’s pretty simple to see the path we’d want to take. I cannot give a time-table but I do know that this method has had some remarkable results in speedy time! I like to see my clients once a month to check their progress, refresh their supply or make some changes.
- How do you begin to evaluate a body’s needs?
When a client sits down, they give me their health history. We go over their chief complaints and special conditions I need to be aware of. I educate the client about how I work and we jump in. So, the first step is to prepare for a detox. I mostly use a specific form of muscle testing called the Bi-Digital Oring to build an individualized and appropriate Opening Channels Program for them. Once their body indicates readiness to detox, I do another kind of evaluation using my EAV device. OR, I use Q.R.A., a highly specific muscle testing technique that uses acupressure points to assess tissue needs. The client’s body will let me know when an appropriate supplement is chosen.
- How long does an average consultation last?
They can go from 1-2 hours depending on if I am muscle testing or scanning. They average 1 hour or less for checkups.
- What can you do to help with emotional concerns?
When a person is experiencing emotional stress, their bodies go in to a fight or flight mode. They either have to fight the “bear” or run from the “bear.” The body shuts down or minimizes the digestive system to use the energy in the stress. Digestion goes out the window… Absorption of vital nutrients doesn’t happen… Assimilation and transportation of nutrients doesn’t happen… Elimination becomes a disaster, etc. In our wonky world, our neuroendocrine systems are not being supported and therefore cell to cell or organ to organ communication is not working well. Gunk settles in our cells and around our cells. The filtering organs get congested and it all goes south unless we can recover quickly or get proper support. When the body carries that kind of stress internally, it can exacerbate any new stress. It becomes like a hall of mirrors facing each other until we stop the cycle.
Some folks will benefit from Bach Flowers which help balance emotions which are out of balance gently and with no ill effects. If the emotions can balance, the body can work on health more easily. I’ve seen this time and time again.
The above is also true of people who are on psychotropic meds. Their body’s systems are being buried under toxins they may not need.
If a person is toxic, they don’t feel well. If they don’t feel well, they can have a tougher time recovering emotionally.
My recommendation for a person who is dealing with emotional stress would also include, if interested, in outward focused living, stress management through process journaling, grounding and prayer. Ultimately, help them to feel better and point them to the Lord.
- What is the difference between essential oils and homoepathics?
Essential oils are plant-based essences mostly from a distillation process that concentrates specific beneficial properties. They are fragrant and can be used to nourish tissues, elevate mood and/or calm the body. Having HIGH quality essential oils are a must. Please do not invest like I did years ago on cheap ones. Buy only therapeutic grade essential oils. The essential oil industry is not regulated like pharmaceuticals, so buyer beware. A really neat thing I learned about them is that they do actually use frequency as part of their nourishing attributes. A message in a bottle. My caution to you is to make sure your body actually wants that “message” before you jump in a vat of it.
Homeopathics are based on the principle of “like cures like” and are FDA regulated for consistency and quality control. If a person is having an allergic reaction to a bee sting, for example, they may take Apis Mel, which is homeopathically diluted bee venom! I have called a homeopathic remedy “your personal Paul Revere” because it alerts the immune system to respond in a specific way. It is given in dilutions called potencies. Like layers of an onion, the cells can carry toxins in certain places. Different potencies target different layers of the cell.
- Do you take online or phone consultations?
I’d be happy to do a phone consultation.
- Does your practice use pagan/other religions’ methods? How is it conducive to the Christian faith?
My whole heart and soul wishes to honor the Lord in my work and life. If I cannot attribute it to creation, science backed principles, or scripture, it does not come through my door or into my practice.
- Can I pay with my medical savings account?
I have been told that you can be reimbursed for my services and supplements. However, I cannot guarantee it. That would be something you should verify before making an appointment. I cannot swipe a MSA card. My provider does not have my device coded to do so.
- Do you take insurance?
Happily, no. I understand that for many people, insurance seems the only way they can pay for their medical needs. I am not a doctor and will be working with supporting your body, not suppressing symptoms. If you need to go beyond what the medical field has to offer, you do not want insurance to get in your way. It should only be for a season.
- Have you ever worked with kids with special medical needs, such as cerebral palsy, chronic lung disease, or short-gut?
Not those specific needs. But if they were made by the same Creator (wink wink), then their bodies would be able to tell me how to support them. They are not their disease.
- Would your services be beneficial for comfort for end-of-life care?
For end-of-life care, I would love to ground them and do extremely gentle Body Balance techniques with them. Nourishing their biofield would be important. If there is too much damage, and not enough time, we can support around the damage.
- What kind of ailments do you work with, if any?
I work with tissues and toxins. Those can manifest into countless ailments. I can’t imagine one I wouldn’t work with.
